Wrongful
Death
In
most states, surviving family members have the right to recover
for the death of a relative if the death was caused by the wrongful
act of another. Survivors may recover the losses they have incurred
because of the death of a relative. To a degree, the amount of recovery
depends upon the amount of money the deceased person was able to
earn and whether or not the surviving family members were dependent
upon his or her income for support.
For
the loss of a non-wage earning family member, factors to be considered
in awarding money include loss of companionship and loss of love
and affection. Our network of lawyers have handled numerous wrongful
death claims and have the skill, experience, and education necessary
to represent you.
